This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, and account management at Danze 101: Studio of Dance (“the Studio”). By enrolling in a class, workshop, or event, you agree to the terms below.
1. Tuition and Fees
Tuition is charged on a monthly or seasonal basis, as specified at registration.
Annual Registration Fee: A non-refundable annual registration fee is required per family upon enrollment and at the start of each dance season (typically September).
Costume Fees: Fees for recital costumes are separate and are due by the posted deadline. These fees are generally non-refundable once costumes have been ordered.
2. Cancellation of Enrollment & Refunds
Withdrawal from Classes: To cancel ongoing monthly enrollment, a written notice (email) must be received by the 20th of the prior month. For example, to cancel for October, notice must be received by September 20th. Tuition for the following month will not be charged. Tuition for the current month is non-refundable.
Seasonal Programs/Camps: For intensive workshops, summer camps, or special seasonal sessions, cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the start date to receive a refund, minus a $25 administration fee. Cancellations made within 14 days are non-refundable.
Trial Classes: A single trial class may be offered at a reduced rate. This fee is non-refundable if the student does not continue with enrollment.
3. Missed Classes & Make-Ups
The Studio does not provide refunds or prorated tuition for missed classes (e.g., due to illness, vacation, personal conflict).
We encourage students to attend a make-up class in a similar style/age group within the same term, subject to availability. Make-up classes must be scheduled in advance with the front desk.
4. Studio-Initiated Cancellations
If the Studio must cancel a class due to low enrollment, teacher illness, or unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a prorated refund for that class or offer a suitable credit or make-up option.
5. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment within 10-14 business days of approval.
6. Account Holds
In cases of extended injury or illness (exceeding 4 weeks), a student may request an account hold with a doctor’s note. During the hold, tuition will not be charged, and the student’s spot in the class will be reserved for one term.
Contact Us: For all cancellation requests, withdrawals, and questions regarding this policy, please contact our studio manager.
